Coach Developer of the Year
Always learning, Jesse Engelbrecht (Jesse Engelbrecht Squash Academy) continually seeks knowledge to inform and improve his practice (England Squash). As well as running workshops for his coaching team, he sends them videos and blogs followed up with meaningful discussions โ all of which help to establish a constructive learning culture in which every opinion is valued. With an emphasis on learning from one another, Jesse has created a programme that recognises the strengths and needs of each coach that he works with.
Founder of Sport Structures, Simon Kirkland places great emphasis on identifying the needs, motivations, expectations, and concerns of the coaches that he works with, providing a firm foundation for establishing an environment in which everyone feels empowered to be themselves. Keen to ensure that everyone's needs are met, he is also an advocate of work-based learning opportunities.
Brogan Jones (Coach Core) works tirelessly to encourage a lifelong love of learning, empowering the coaches that she works with to take ownership of their own learning journeys and to always be responsive to the needs of the people that they coach. Encouraging group members to offer one another meaningful feedback, she creates well-connected, nurturing networks that benefit every coach.
